OTORIO

This case study highlights my UX/UI design work at OTORIO on two products—RAM², an OT cyber risk management platform, and remOT™, a secure remote access solution. As the sole designer, I led the design process following my predecessor’s departure. While project details remain confidential, I’m happy to discuss my experience privately within NDA limits.

Understanding the Products

A deep dive into the products, their technical aspects, user profiles, and the OT cybersecurity landscape was paramount to begin the design process. This understanding formed the foundation for the ensuing design work.

Accomplishments

RAM²'s user interface was designed to allow users to intuitively manage, assess, and mitigate cyber risks. The design focuses on presenting complex data in an easily digestible format. Users can gain quick insights from dashboards and make informed decisions in real-time.

  1. Increased Efficiency: The intuitive design resulted in a 29% decrease in the time taken to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats.

  2. Developed a comprehensive design system: Created a design system that ensured consistency and reduced design debt across all products.

Creating a Design System

A uniform design system was vital for consistency across all products. This system covered color palettes, typography, iconography, form and input designs, and reusable components.
